We are proud to announce that Warren Jack has received the distinction of being nominated as an official Ambassador for the Nelson Mandela Bay/ Port Elizabeth Host City in respect of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa (tm).

All 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Ambassadors are people that are regarded as role models in South African society, who have distinguished themselves as sportsmen and - women.

The duties of an Ambassador will entail representing Nelson Mandela Bay at certain occasions leading up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

Warren Jacks Soccer History
Warren's soccer career started in 1974 when he represented the Eastern Province U/13 team and continued to play for the Eastern Cape until 1979.

In 1980 he played for Walmer Celtic N.F.L and then continued with Eastern Province seniors in 1981. In 1982 he had to withdrawn because of ankle injury although he was asked to play for Mambas vs Kaizer Chiefs. When he joined SA Airforce in 1983 he made the SA Defence Force team being the top goal scorer at the Currie Cup (7 goals) and continued playing for them in

1984 where he was awarded as player of the tournament at SADF tournament and was asked to play for Buddy Callies.

In 1985 he played pro-soccer for Royal Strickers, Overseas (Cyprus) and 1986 returned to Eastern Province soccer side

Warren then represented the South African soccer side 26th October 1986 and played for Rangers pro-soccer, WB Aces and player of the year Westview Sports Club fo 1986.

Warren also represented the South African soccer side for indoor soccer and to date is the only player to represent SA twice!

In 1987 played for Leeds United- a Durban based side where he made 23 goals and was approached by Chiefs, Arcadia, Amazula Rangers, Hellenic, Black Aces, A. Bucks and Frazer Celtic. In his debut for Leeds United vs Hellenic

2-2 with Warren scoring 2 goals.

He has also played for Amazulu, Hellenic, Umtata Bush Bucks, Black Pool and Highland Spurs.

At the end of his career, he was CEO of the Premier Division Soccer side known as Warriors and is still actively involved with township soccer i.e.

Real Madrid sponsor, New Brighton Soccer Club sponsor and his consistently looking for players to help by having a good relationship with Premier division coaches.

He was also involved with Bay United for +-2 years as a Technical Director.
